tevinteriscoming: (thoughtful.)
[Well, Sunday he's in no condition to go retrieve the ring from where he'd left it (dropped it down the elevator shaft). Monday morning he's not significantly in better condition, but he does want to try to see Adrien. Not that he thinks Adrien will want to see him, or that he'll have anything worthwhile to say, but the ring is a decent enough pretense to try. He goes to fetch it and then goes looking for him, eventually finding him in the rec room.]

May I have a moment?
tevinteriscoming: (banter. 8)
[He'll try to catch Adam at some point when he's off on his own for a quick chat. Hands up to appear non-threatening]

Do you have a moment? Promise not to strike you unawares if you promise.
tevinteriscoming: (warm. 6)
[He'll try to catch Luke at some point when he's off on his own for a quick chat. Hands up to appear non-threatening]

If this is part of my murder plot, I'm declaring a temporary truce.
tevinteriscoming: (magic.)
[After the motive and the group discussion, he'll want to speak to Grell in private. Bringing her back to his room for a chat.]

Are you all right? [First things first. He's no idea what Grell's hostage means to her, but this week can't be pleasant for anyone.]
tevinteriscoming: (tarot.)
[After all the excitement exploring new areas peters out, Dorian will return to his room. Once he has a minute alone, he'll call for the AI.]

Alice, a word?

[It isn't until Friday afternoon that Dorian manages to get away from his babysitters. It's been - infuriating, actually, to sit on this for over a day, feeling like a sullen child trying to sneak out of his house. But he knows he can't risk Adrien and Marinette learning of these communications. He trusts the two of them, of course. He also trusts that either could be a host for one of the parasites. Either way, it is best for him to keep the information limited for now to those who are already in on it.

He's with Grell, left in her supervision, but will go find Adam and Luke and have them brought back to his room to talk.]
tevinteriscoming: (Default)
[Dorian is easy to track down if you want to talk to him. He's in his room, with Adrien outside guarding him. He avoids going out during the middle of the day, when most everyone is out and about, not wanting to run into anyone who doesn't want to see him, or, heaven forbid, Clover or Machias. He's got a book, some food, a little tea to drink, though it has gone cold. He doesn't need much more.]

[Dorian is easy to track down if you want to talk to him. He's in his room, with Marinette outside guarding him. It's early in the morning for him, but he's been keeping an earlier schedule, grabbing breakfast and tea in the morning and re-checking out his tablet before returning to his room.]

[Notes passed to Marinette]

[Sometime during the day on Tuesday, Dorian will suggest that Grell join him in the Viewport for a drink.

Of course, he's a little turned off of wine after everything. Instead, he's brought a small teapot filled with hot water and bags of tea, and a small handful of cups. It just feels safer if they're drinking from the same source of water. Not on his account, but he doesn't want to make Grell weigh between politeness and sensible caution. There's a bottle of wine there too in case that's what she wants, but he won't pour it himself.]

week 6

[Weekly garbage]
tevinteriscoming: (serious. 6)
[After the week's ordeal is over, he considers going to his room and waiting around again, but. No. No...

Instead, grabbing a bottle of alcohol himself (the hard stuff, it was a tough week) and heading immediately over to Bull's and knocking.

Better let him in before he's going to get caught waiting outside.]
tevinteriscoming: (complain. 2)
[Shortly after the commotion with the AI clears up, the only thing for it is to get themselves away from all of the drama and try to adapt. Dorian has spoken to Roxy a few times, mostly during trials, but he doesn't know much about her. She's another teenage girl on a ship full of teenagers, and he would very much prefer not to be handcuffed to her - if he has to be handcuffed to anyone at all, he'd at least choose someone making jokes about it towards doesn't feel vaguely inappropriate. It makes him feel so old.

But the best way to deal with this will be to get along, perhaps even get each other's "approval" up, whatever that means.

The parlor is as good a place as any to sit down and actually have a conversation.]

Well, then. I suppose we'll be getting to know one another.
tevinteriscoming: (concerned. 4)
[Well, this time, instead of going to the chapel after the trial, he's returning to his room. But he's also not stalking off in quite the mood he was in last week. He doesn't actually want to be alone so much as seeing just how far he can push this coy pretending they don't have plans bit. Will he actually come by if Dorian isn't in the usual spot? After everything else this week, Dorian sort of feels like Bull deserves to have to put a little extra effort in. And if Bull decides not to, then he'll be where he prefers to be, drinking alone in his room and not having to talk to anyone. Either way, it works out.

Of course, after enough time has passed, he starts to feel a little antsy.]
tevinteriscoming: (hurt. 2)
[The paranoia is starting to get unpleasant to deal with, especially as the day drags on Thursday. Every odd sound, or shadow around the corner, and he has to prevent himself from casting barrier and using up his allotment of magic for the day. It's difficult, but he's also well practiced enough with this sort of thing; temptations from demons that try to manipulate your sense of reality. The remedy is to remain firm about the things you know are true. But by Thursday evening, between the paranoia and the knowledge that half the ship might legitimately be out to kill them is beginning to get unbearable.

It might come by attack, or by framing. The only person he knows well enough to trust is Bull at this point. He hasn't been feeling comfortable around him lately, but the logical part of his brain tells him he should. It's frustrating, to be torn between the emotional instinct to distrust and what he ought to and even wants to think.

Which is why it starts to seem like a good idea, after a few drinks, to wait for him outside his room. After all, they need to work this out and get on the same page before whatever is going to erupt on Friday happens, and they should probably be discussing strategy somewhere more private than the chapel.]
tevinteriscoming: (drink.)
[After the trial lets out, he's tired, but not ready to go back to his room and fall asleep. Instead, he takes his several bottles of wine left over from ordering at the trial and will go find a place to drink in privacy. Before he departs, he notices Bull, and considers maybe speaking to him - but, instead, cheerily suggests he might be amenable to sharing a bottle, and then leaves without telling Bull where he'll actually be.

The place he winds up in is the chapel. Why not, it's quiet, and no one is in here, and the idea of it tickles his subversive streak.

It's decent enough wine but he didn't get any cups, so he's drinking straight out of the bottle as he lounges on one of the pews.]
