It's a sound idea, but I think destined to fail. Though a staff isn't a weapon [yes it fucking is], those without magic have always viewed magic as a threat. You can take away an axe, or a set of knives, but you can't change what we can do with a thought. It's natural they wouldn't see discarding their weapons as making them safer.

I figured it would just make it easier to get through trials. I mean, if one of us used magic, it would be easy to narrow it down. Those without magic wouldn't even have to worry about being suspects. [ Just victims! ]
