open; Tuesday evening; cafeteria
[So you decided to come to this spontaneous gathering. Not Dorian's gathering, mind. He's not leading this, it was just a suggestion some people made and one of those people who made it was Dorian.
But nonetheless, you are here, in the cafeteria, at the time suggested by Dorian.]

I hate curfews as much as the next guy, but I also hate people killing each other for shitty reasons.

[Hmmmm...]
Jessie won't do it. It'd be a waste of time to ask her.

[And he has no idea how the hell that will be enforced, or how legitimate it is, but if those three are willing to go for it then by all means.]
What makes you think Jessie won't?

[Shelley likes Jessie and all, but it isn't like she is blind to that woman's flaws]
I bet she'd shirk the task by saying something like 'but I need my beauty sleep!' or something like that.

[No one would go on trial for killing that thing right??]

[Sigh]
I guess I could try to ask her, then. I don't expect it to work, but I'll try.
[Without threatening to kill the giant snake. Somehow Shelley doesn't think that will be of much help on the 'convince Jessie' department]

Thanks Shell. Even without Jessie though, I'm sure Dorian and Jason could handle it. I'd be willing to volunteer for third guard. Anyone who comes after me better be fucking ready for a fight.

But seriously, will you offer yourself up to guard?

{ He discussed it even, at one point, with someone else. }
On one hand, even a patrol wouldn't be guaranteed to be perfect. An item on that tool list is a cloaking device, to start off with. Not to mention that all-access card.
On another, it could deter a murderer, but unlikely if they're desperate enough to try in the first place.

[Ugh, he hates secret surprises that he isn't in on.]
It may not be perfect, but it would give them trouble. Maybe help make alibis a little harder to fake.
no subject
{ Right? Those are the worst. }
Let's see how it goes, then.
{ Hopefully it will work out someway -- but he's a little too cynical to honestly believe that. }

[ she'll leave out the fact that her gun isn't particularly powerful, but it could get the job done regardless. ]

[ she'll discreetly slip it out of her sleeve to let hancock see. he'll notice it's attached to a device in her jacket. ]
When I shoot, I've got three options. They're all elemental and have a different effect. So I'll just gently melt their faces off. [ wait, fuck ] —Uh, sorry, not that there's anything wrong with having a melted face? It just might hurt a little?
no subject
Yeah, I bet it would. Not that I would know, since my face isn't melted at all. Just irradiated and decayed.

[ the true mystery is when will fiona accidentally offend hancock ]
Anyway, I think if we have one or two people for each day of the week, we should be good. There's only one way out of the rooming quarters.
